Account data

When you create an account, we process your username, password hash, account timestamps, role, XP, level, wins, streaks, achievements and related gameplay statistics. Passwords are not stored in plain text.

• Purpose: account creation, login, game operation and fraud prevention.
• Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests in operating a secure platform.

Legal consent records

During registration or Discord onboarding we store when you accepted the Terms of Service and Community Rules, when you acknowledged the Privacy Policy, the legal version, a hashed IP reference and a shortened user agent.

• Purpose: evidence of consent to platform rules and legal compliance.
• Legal basis: legitimate interests and legal obligations.

Discord login

If you use Discord OAuth, Discord sends us your Discord user ID, display name and avatar information. We use this only to create or connect your Verse-Battle account and to display your profile where the platform requires it.

• Discord remains responsible for its own processing. Please also review Discord's privacy information.

Lobbies, uploads and chat

When you join lobbies, upload MP3 tracks or send chat messages, we process the required gameplay data, audio metadata, file names, public upload URLs, timestamps, lobby status and chat content.

• Purpose: running battles, playback, voting, moderation and abuse prevention.
• Uploads and chat messages may be reviewed if they are reported or if abuse is suspected.

Server logs and technical data

Our servers and reverse proxies may process IP addresses, request timestamps, user agents, requested URLs, status codes and security events.

• Purpose: technical delivery, security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
• Log retention depends on the hosting configuration and is kept as short as reasonably possible.

Cookies, local storage and tokens

The platform may store technically necessary information in your browser, especially login tokens and game/session data. These are required for authentication and platform operation.

• We do not use marketing cookies by default.
• If analytics or marketing tools are added later, they should be used only with the required consent.

Recipients and hosting

Personal data may be processed by hosting providers, infrastructure providers, email systems and technical service providers where this is required to operate Verse-Battle.net.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. Gameplay, moderation and legal records may be retained where necessary for security, legal defence, abuse handling or statutory duties. You may request account deletion by contacting us.
